How do you use Obagi CLENZIderm M.D.® Pore Therapy?

Moisten a cotton ball with the Obagi CLENZIderm M.D.® Pore Therapy and smooth the cotton ball over your face. (Use 1-3 times daily). Allow to dry. If excessive drying occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.

Formulated to clean deep within the follicle and help clear acne fast, the CLENZIderm M.D.® System is the only prescription-strength acne treatment that contains a solubilized form of 5% Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) which can penetrate the surface and have a greater impact on acne bacteria. Whereas other BPO treatments contain insoluable micro or macro-crystals which may remain on the skin's surface leading to irritation and reduced efficacy.

OBAGI CLENZIderm M.D® PORE THERAPY

The 2% salicylic acid in this prescription-only toner helps clear skin by targeting acne at its source by reducing redness and inflammation. Cleaning deep within the pores to reduce pore size and remove dead skin cells leaving skin feeling revitalised and ready for the next step in your skincare routine.

How to apply
- Following cleansing, pat skin dry.
- Shake CLENZIderm M.D.® Pore Therapy bottle well
- Place a cotton ball or pad over the pump firmly and pump 2 to 3 times to saturate, then cover the entire affected area with a thin layer 1 to 3 times daily.
- Do not rinse.
This product may dry your skin, begin with 1 application daily, then gradually increase to 2 or 3 times daily if needed or as directed by your Obagi specialist.

If dryness or peeling becomes excessive, reduce application to once a day or every alternate day.
What to expect
The Obagi CLENZIderm M.D.® Pore Therapy is clinically proven to quickly clear acne, reduce redness and remove acne-causing bacteria.

In a clinical study, patients using CLENZIderm M.D.® Pore Therapy in combination with other products from the CLENZIderm M.D.® System experienced:
- 23% reduction in sore red acne after one week of use - twice the reduction compared to patients using a leading combination prescription acne medication and 52% reduction after 2 weeks.
- 13% reduction in whiteheads and blackheads after one week of use - more than twice the reduction compared to patients using a leading combination prescription acne medication - and 34% reduction after 2 weeks.
