Hollowing of the temples due to volume loss is a natural part of the ageing process. This leads to less structural support in the temple area, which results in a lower tail-end of the eyebrow compared to when we were younger, as well as folds, wrinkles and volume loss around the eye area. Dermal fillers can be used to replace the lost volume and provide essential support in this area and beyond.
Your temples are situated near the tail end of your eye-brows on the flat side of your head, often where you may press or massage to relieve a headache or 'brain freeze' after eating something too cold.
Typically the process of hollowing of the temples starts in your mid 20’s and becomes more obvious in your 40’s. If you road-run, grind your teeth or chew excessively the hollowing can be exacerbated.
Dermal fillers volumise the temple hollow by directly filling the space and 'replacing' the lost fat pads in that area. This gives the immediate appearance of a ‘mini face lift’ by stretching and lifting the skin around the upper area of the eye as well as improving facial structure and also lifting the cheeks.

We have showcased a couple of temple filler results. One male, one female. Both show fantastic yet subtle improvements in the concavity on the side of the face. Eyebrows are supported and the silhouette from the temple to the cheek area is greatly improved.

As with all treatments, there are risks associated with temple fillers and these will be discussed in full with you during your consultation. It is essential that your temple filler treatment is carried out in a clinical environment by an experienced and suitably qualified clinician who can deal with any problems immediately and independently should they arise.
We will be able to provide an indication of the cost during your consultation when we are discussing your treatment plan. The amount of filler required to achieve the desired effect varies from person to person and factors that can influence this amount includes age of the patient, amount of volume loss and lifestyle choices.

I am so impressed with The Aesthetics Hub. I had fillers for my temple hollows, a treatment I had not really considered before. However I am so very pleased I had this done, as I even achieved some lift in the lower area of my face as well."
