Non-Surgical Chin Augmentation using dermal filler in the chin is a safe and non-invasive alternative to the conventional chin augmentation. It will help enhance and accentuate the face's natural contours by increasing or decreasing the length, width or the projection of the chin without having surgery. The chin is an often neglected facial feature that plays a pivotal role in facial aesthetics, as the chin is the point upon which all facial symmetry, proportion and shape is balanced. It also plays an important role in connecting the face to the neck. For harmony, the ratio of the upper lip to lower lip and chin is 1:2. If a shorter or longer chin is present, the face appears unbalanced.
The correct filler volume placed accurately can adjust the height, width and projection of the chin. This changes the shape of the face, balances nasal projection and improves overall attractiveness – all of which contributes to a ‘wow’ effect, with longer lasting natural results. Chin filler also improves the skins texture and creates a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
As all patients are different a unique individual approach is required for each patient. Special volumising dermal fillers in combination with skill, knowledge and insight of our experienced clinicians are used in this advanced technique to improve facial structure. These dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists within our skin as well as a local anaesthetic to make the treatment more comfortable. The technology in these dermal fillers enables easy moulding, with minimal swelling and longer-lasting more natural results.

Yes, if carried out by a suitably qualified clinician following face-to-face consultation in a clinical environment, providing you have no contraindications to treatment, then dermal filler can be placed in the chin. There are various reasons we use dermal filler in the chin; for a recessed or under-projected chin, for an aging chin, a dimpled chin and as part of jawline contouring.
Immediately after treatment you may experience some swelling and tenderness which can also make the chin feel quite firm. This feeling can last up to 2-4 weeks and improves once the swelling has settled and the dermal filler has integrated with your own tissues.
All our treatments are bespoke as every face is different and therefore each person has different requirements. During your consultation your treatment plan will be discussed including costing to give you a more accurate price for your treatment.
