Cheeks are a defining feature of the face. In order to add volume to the facial structure, special volumising dermal fillers are injected using an advanced technique, improving the skins texture and creating a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
WHAT DOES CHEEK FILLER DO?
Loss of volume in the cheeks can have a huge impact on the rest of the face. The under-eye area can start to appear sunken, nasolabial folds appear, cheeks become flatter, jowels appear and the jawline becomes less defined. Cheek enhancement using hyaluronic acid dermal fillers will lift the cheek, supporting the eyebrow and lower-lid, which in turn softens the tear trough and improves the appearance of the jawline and sunken areas. Not only do we treat the cheek bone area, but also underneath the cheek bone in order to support the sub-malar region. These treatments can also have a slimming effect on the face transforming the triangular shape we see with ageing back into the youthful "v-shape".

This patient presented to clinic on the lead up to her 50th birthday with concerns around the flattening of her cheeks and hollowing under her eyes. The before and after shows the result achieved following dermal filler to the cheeks which indirectly has also given support to the under-eye, softening the nasolabial lines, lifting of the jawline, slimming the face and resulted in a more rejuvenated appearance.
