The Aesthetics Hub® is proud to use Allergans’ Botox® for Wrinkle Relaxing Treatments at our clinic in Liverpool.

The treatment aims to improve the appearance of both static and dynamic wrinkles on the face. Allergans' Botox® product has been used extensively throughout medicine and was the first drug to be licensed to temporarily relax facial muscles that cause lines and wrinkles.

How does it work?

Botox® is a natural purified protein that partially blocks the nerve impulses and reduces contractions in the muscles where it is injected. When injected into the facial muscles, they relax and lines and wrinkles reduce, leading to a smoother appearance.

Results are temporary but with regular treatments every 3-4 months patients see ongoing improvement in skin texture and a reduction in lines and wrinkles.

Every Botox® patient requires a face-to-face consultation with our Independent Nurse prescriber before a treatment can take place (as per the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) guidelines).
